Mackenzie joined Yellow Ventures in 2022 as a key partner, leading deal flow, due diligence, and portfolio strategy across the firm’s venture activities. As the primary front-end contact for founders and investors, she plays a pivotal role in sourcing opportunities, guiding investments, and supporting portfolio growth.
Today, Mackenzie oversees Yellow Ventures’ management of three state SSBCI programs—InvestSC, Louisiana Growth Fund and InvestMS (Mississippi)—where she manages direct investment pipelines, compliance frameworks, and capital deployment strategies in collaboration with state economic development leaders.
Before entering venture capital, Mackenzie built a foundation in SaaS operations, gaining hands-on experience scaling early-stage companies. She holds a degree in Communications from Purdue University.

She began her career in multimedia and is currently a partner at Yellow Ventures, where she also serves as Executive Administrator, Coordinator, and Operations manager. With a strong eye for design and a strategic mindset, Meghan plays a key role in driving both the creative and operational sides of the business. She graduated from Purdue University in 2013 with a degree in Communications.
